I have recently put my dependent Abu Dhabi visa on hold before cancellation of my Visa. Request was approved on 12/04/26. Now as I am not renewing my residency, I have now cancel my dependent visa but when i go for the refund of the deposit on icp through Refund of Approved request it says request is not refundable and if i choose through exceptional refund request then it says request doesn't have security deposit amount.
From one previous thread here i learned that since dependent is still in country that is why this error is coming. I want to know that if that is the same case with me. And if i leave the country also along with my dependent since I am also on cancelled visa, can I request refund from outside.

In this case, as you are not renewing your residency, you have to cancel the family dependent visas first. After the dependent visa cancellation is completed, you will be able to apply for the security deposit refund.
For family visa cancellation, the sponsor must be inside the UAE at the time of cancellation.
