Obtaining a UAE Golden Visa is an important milestone for property owners seeking long-term residency in the United Arab Emirates. However, the process involves documentation, application submissions, government approvals, and coordination of the remaining residency procedures.
At Harf Typing & Documents Clearing, we recently assisted a ready freehold property owner in Ras Al Khaimah with his 10-year UAE Golden Visa application. After completing the main applicant’s process, we also proceeded with residency applications for his wife and daughter, helping the family move forward together.
What made this case particularly satisfying was the speed of the final processing stages, the regular communication throughout the application, and the successful completion of the family’s residency procedures.
Here is the story of how the application progressed, based on the actual communication between our team and the customer.
A Golden Visa Application Supported by Proper Documentation
The process began with document coordination and follow-ups in July 2026. As part of this particular case, Harf coordinated with the customer regarding the required No Objection Certificate (NOC), including a bank-issued NOC that the customer delivered to our office.
We also followed up on the application’s progress with the relevant immigration authorities.
On 27 July 2026, we informed the customer that Ras Al Khaimah Immigration had contacted us regarding the NOC from Ras Al Khaimah Chamber. Later that day, we confirmed that the required NOC had been received.
This stage demonstrated an important part of the Golden Visa process: preparing the documentation, monitoring outstanding requirements, and keeping the customer informed when further action was needed.
Every property owner’s circumstances are different, and the required documents and approvals can vary according to the individual application. Our responsibility is to guide customers through their specific requirements and coordinate the process as efficiently as possible.
The Golden Visa Entry Permit Was Approved on 14 August
After the necessary preceding steps were completed, we resumed the entry-permit stage of the customer’s Golden Visa application.
On 14 August 2026, Harf updated the customer about the next stages of the process, explaining that the application would proceed to status change, the medical fitness test, the 10-year Golden Visa, and the Emirates ID once the entry permit was approved.
The customer responded positively and confirmed that he wanted us to continue.
At 8:59 PM on 14 August 2026, we received the good news: the Golden Visa entry permit had been approved.
We immediately informed the customer so that we could proceed with the remaining formalities.
This milestone allowed us to move forward with the next stage of his application rather than leaving him uncertain about its progress.
Status Change Completed the Following Day
The day after the entry permit approval, we continued with the next steps.
On 15 August 2026, at 12:26 PM, we informed the customer that the status change had been completed.
We then coordinated the medical fitness procedure and helped arrange a suitable option based on the customer’s availability. We provided the medical application, the status-change document, and instructions about the documents he needed to carry to the medical centre.
The customer was able to proceed with the next stage that same day.
During the process, the customer sent us a short message that captured his reaction:
“That was fast!”
For our team, this was an encouraging moment. Golden Visa applications require more than submitting forms; they also involve coordinating the next steps, communicating clearly, and helping customers understand what needs to happen after each approval.
While government processing times can vary, our goal is always to minimise avoidable delays through organised follow-up and prompt action.
The Main Applicant’s 10-Year Golden Visa Process Was Completed
On 16 August 2026, we sent the customer another important update.
Our message was simple:
“Good news — all completed!”
We informed him that his Golden Visa process had been completed and that we could now proceed with the applications for his wife and daughter.
This was the major milestone in the case. The entry permit had been approved on the evening of 14 August, the status change was completed on 15 August, and Harf reported the main applicant’s process complete on 16 August.
The physical Emirates ID was confirmed as received at our office by 19 August.
The experience demonstrates how quickly the final stages can progress when the file is ready to move forward and the required appointments, documentation, and approvals are coordinated efficiently. It should not, however, be taken as a guaranteed processing time for every Golden Visa application.
Extending the Process to His Wife and Daughter
For many Golden Visa customers, securing their own residency is only one part of the overall objective. They also want to understand how their eligible family members can obtain residency.
In this case, the customer asked us when we could begin the applications for his wife and daughter.
We explained that his Emirates ID first needed to become available in the relevant system. Once that requirement was met, we could proceed with the family applications.
On 17 August 2026, we confirmed that the family file had been opened and outlined the upcoming stages, including the entry permits, status procedures where applicable, the required medical step for his wife, and the residency and Emirates ID processing.
We continued coordinating with the customer to arrange appointments around his availability. We also followed up on the documents required for the applications.
On 19 August 2026, we informed him that the family applications had been completed.
His response was short and genuine:
“Thank you!”
We also confirmed that his physical Emirates ID had already arrived at our office and that his wife’s and daughter’s cards were expected shortly.
On 21 August 2026, we updated him that all the Emirates IDs had arrived at our office. He then arranged to visit us to collect the cards.
The case had progressed from the main applicant’s Golden Visa application to the completion of the family’s residency procedures, with regular updates at each important stage.
A Real Customer Experience: Communication Matters
One of the most valuable aspects of this case was the communication throughout the process.
The customer received updates about document requirements, the entry permit, the status change, medical arrangements, and the availability of his Emirates ID. He was also able to ask questions and coordinate appointments around his work commitments.
Early in the process, he told our team:
“Ok. Please go ahead and keep me posted.”
We took that instruction seriously, keeping him informed as the application progressed.
Later, his message — “That was fast!” — reflected his reaction during the application stages, while his “Thank you!” message followed confirmation that the family applications had been completed.
These short exchanges illustrate the service approach we aim to provide at Harf: clear communication, practical guidance, timely follow-up, and support through the different stages of an application.
Our objective is not simply to submit an application. It is to help customers understand the process, respond to requirements, and move forward with confidence.
Watch the Customer’s Golden Visa Experience
After completing the service, we invited the customer to share his experience with Harf Typing in a short video when he visited to collect the Emirates IDs.
He agreed, and we recorded a customer testimonial.
The video offers visitors an opportunity to hear directly from a customer who experienced our Golden Visa service, rather than relying exclusively on a written description of the process.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ras Al Khaimah Golden Visa Applications
How quickly can a Golden Visa be processed in Ras Al Khaimah?
The processing time depends on the individual application, document readiness, government approvals, and other requirements. In this documented case, the entry permit was approved on 14 August 2026, the status change was completed on 15 August, and Harf reported the main applicant’s process complete on 16 August.
This was the timeline for this customer, not a guarantee of the same turnaround for every applicant.
Can a ready-property owner in Ras Al Khaimah apply for a Golden Visa?
Property owners may have a route to Golden Visa eligibility depending on the property and the applicable requirements. The relevant authority must assess the individual application. Contact Harf to discuss your circumstances and the documents needed for your case.
Can Harf help with family residency applications after the main Golden Visa?
In this case, Harf proceeded with the customer’s wife and daughter’s applications after the main applicant’s Emirates ID became available in the system. Family applications have their own documentary and procedural requirements, which should be checked for each case.
Does the customer receive a physical Emirates ID?
Emirates ID issuance and physical card delivery are separate steps in the process. In this case, the main applicant’s physical card had arrived at our office by 19 August, and all the family’s cards were reported as received by 21 August 2026.
