SHARJAH, UAE – Residents and visitors in Sharjah and Dubai can look forward to free parking and additional holiday perks during the upcoming UAE National Day celebrations, local authorities announced this week.
Sharjah’s municipality has declared two consecutive days of free public parking on December 2 and 3, providing relief for motorists during the national holiday. However, the emirate has clarified that paid parking zones, identifiable by blue information signs, will continue to enforce standard charging protocols.
Similarly, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed free public parking from Monday, December 2, through Tuesday, December 3. Multi-story parking facilities will maintain their regular fee structures.
The parking incentives complement other holiday offerings, including telecommunications providers Etisalat and Du‘s generous mobile data packages, which are providing subscribers with complimentary 53GB data packs.
In a further boost to holiday celebrations, Emirates has announced a substantial 50% discount on traffic fines, offering additional financial relief to residents.
