Sorry to hear about your situation.
Do not sign any visa cancellation paper unless you have a proper termination letter from the company. Always insist on receiving an official termination/labour contract end document, not forced resignation or cancellation under pressure.
You should immediately register a complaint with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation either by calling their helpline or through their official online complaint system. They are responsible for handling salary disputes, wrongful termination, passport withholding, and any labour law violations.
As per UAE labour law, if you are terminated without valid reason, you may be eligible for compensation, pending salary, and other end-of-service benefits, depending on your contract type.
Also, once you have either a termination letter or official MOHRE complaint reference, you may apply for ILOE (Involuntary Loss of Employment insurance). This requires proof of job loss, so make sure you keep any MOHRE case number or layoff document.
Do not hand over money under pressure and keep all evidence (messages, tickets, salary records) safely for your complaint.

I request a few minutes of the precious time of MOHRE
I am writing to respectfully raise concerns that has lead to these difficult circumstances. My family issues have now been resolved, and I have tried to move forward with a practical roadmap. However, after highlighting critical safety concerns at UAEU, I felt that my position was misunderstood and, at times, treated as a threat rather than a constructive contribution.
I do not wish to compare UAEU with other universities or discuss how first-year matters are handled elsewhere. My only intention is to focus on the current situation and seek fair consideration. I am Shahul Hameed, a student at Al Ain, UAEU, and I am requesting support in addressing the personal and professional difficulties I have faced after raising these concerns to the respective supervisor.
Although the issues I raised may have appeared to be from a laboratory perspective, the matter unfortunately backfired in several ways. The trailing email below was forwarded earlier to the in-charges, but it was neglected. I would be grateful if you could kindly forward my concern to the respective department.
For your kind information, please find attached the document summarizing the safety measures discussed earlier. Verification has been completed, and some of these measures have already been implemented or are currently in progress. The attachment is for department reference only.
Part I contains content prepared through manual search of resources with careful thought, including safety highlights and work in progress. Part II contains material for a membrane course, prepared in a short time during the final minutes before submission.
I understand that this may not have been the most appropriate platform, and I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with you at a convenient time. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
