Sharjah: Public parking across Sharjah will be free on Monday, June 15, 2026, in observance of the Hijri New Year holiday.
The exemption applies to regular public parking areas across the emirate, allowing residents and visitors to park without paying parking fees during the holiday.
However, the announcement does not apply to smart parking zones and paid parking areas that operate throughout the week and during official holidays. These locations remain chargeable and are identified by blue information signboards.
Motorists are advised to check parking signs before leaving their vehicles to avoid fines in areas where parking charges continue to apply.
