The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has clarified the implementation date of the new salary payment resolution for private sector companies in the UAE.
According to MOHRE:
“This Resolution shall come into force as of 1 June, which means it will be implemented starting from the salary of June. As for the salary of May, it will be processed in accordance with the previous system.”

The rule is not about May salary, it is about the salary of June onwards. So the first official month covered under the new system is June 2026, not May.
